Come and meet Willow and Chloe

COME AND MEET WILLOW AND CHLOE -

the new members of the Gorfenna Family

Set in the beautiful Cornish countryside between Liskeard and Callington, Gorfenna is a Registered Social Farm and provides Day Service for Vulnerable Adults, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year.

Gorfenna is a wheelchair accessible rural smallholding made up of approximately 10 acres.  It has a variety of small farm animals, a vegetable garden and poly tunnel, purpose built craft rooms, wood workshop and fully accessible toilet/shower facilities and parking.

Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for a range of vulnerable people giving them the opportunity to take part in the mixture of daily activities including Green Space Therapy (spending time hands-on with plants and animals).

The service we provide is suitable for those living with:

  • mental health issues,
  • learning difficulties,
  • physical disabilities,
  • acquired brain injuries,
  • autistic spectrum disorder
  • recovering from strokes
  • dementia or
  • experiencing rural isolation/feeling lonely

We offer the opportunity through the local community to socialise both formally and informally in the activities taking place either on our site or within our community. This, in turn, helps to reduce loneliness, improve socialisation skills and prevent rural isolation
